Mirror Image Mag’s New Year’s Resolution

This year Mirror Image Magazine is going to try something new. We’re no longer going to give publicity to those that should be arrested by the fashion police…except under rare occasions. Let’s face it sometimes a person just needs to be put under the spotlight to realize the error of their ways.

For the most part though we will be showcasing those with Fashion Forward looks and trendsetters. And as always we’ll be offering any info we have on places to eat, shop & things that just shouldn’t be missed.

Here are a few of our favorite looks from parties around NYC this New Year’s Eve.

These gentlemen did their thing! They were not playing games. They look wonderful. Our favorite of the group is homeboy in the purple. Absolutely love how the stripe in the tie is almost the exact same shade as his shirt. Really wish our bowtie buddy would have left the Gucci belt home but he still looks good. Just hope he kept his jacket closed most of the night.

For a more casual look, he is our choice. Don’t think you can go wrong with neutral tones. We do wish though that sunglasses in the club would be a trend that was left in 2009.

Love this pic because it is natural. They weren’t paying attention to the camera and were simply enjoying their night. Was sad that the gallery we got this from didn’t have a solo shot of the woman so we could see her whole look. The gentleman looks great. The contrast of red on the black pops just as a New Year’s Eve outfit should. And they coordinated their looks. How cute!

She is our favorite female for the night. This dress looks fun! It is what New Year’s outfits should be, short, sexy and extra. Wish we could see the shoes she chose to pair it with. Love the red flower in the hair. And she was smart enough to know she didn’t need a necklace.
