This is a very pretty young woman. She was at an all black party at a NY club and I can see the look she was going for. She wanted to stand out amongst a crowd that was supposed to be repping all black everything. She decided to spice her black up with a lil pink. I’m down. I like pink and black together. I love her lace gloves. I wish I could see her shoes because from what I can see I think I would like them.

What I don’t love is her showing off all of her goodies!!! Mama, leave something to the imagination! I can’t even tell if she’s wearing shorts or underwear! The hoodie could have worked. If a) her bra would have been the right color (I know the camera flash might have effected her look but still or b) if she would have put on a different type of undergarment. If you choose to go with the missing bottom I suggest you cover your top. Had her bottom been a lil more existent I think the see-through hoodie might not have looked like what she should be answering the door to her boo at 3am.

I’ll give it to her. The look is going into our H.A.M. category but only because she could have pulled this off and been a Fashion Forwardnista with a lil work. As for shorty standing barefoot behind our girl not so much!!!

I guess he figured that if someone could bring the 80s back why not try the 60s!!! He was probably hoping that this tie dye ensemble would get him some free love. I beg to differ.
Maybe this outfit looked better behind his blue tinted lenses but chances are he just forgot to look in the mirror. Did we mention that this picture comes from a recent 50 cent party in NYC? Oh, we didn’t? Well, it does. Maybe he wanted to stand out in the sea of black that the majority of the party was wearing. (We went to this party and wondered if we missed the all black memo.)

Mirror Image advice: Leave this look in the closet unless the date on your calendar is October 31st. At least then you can blame it on being a costume.

Where do we begin? Let us call sweetheart Barbie. I don’t know when I look at her something just makes me want to nickname her Barbie! Anyway, back to regular programming. I give her props. I’m sure she wanted to stand out at an awards show after party. This picture was taken at an after party in NYC and I guarantee you that she stood out. I went by multiple parties on Sunday and saw that black seemed to be the color of the night. I like that she took chances.

Her hat actually reminds me of something that Carrie Bradshaw might have worn. This would be adorable on Easter Sunday or at the Kentucky Derby. Not so adorable at Suzie Wong’s.

The dress looks kind of plasticy (yes, just made up a word). The corset she is wearing underneath it is a little bulky and makes the dress fit badly around the middle.

I just don’t like the shoes.

She’s a pretty girl willing to take fashion risks which is always a good thing. This look however is not.

When I first saw this picture I assumed that this was a bottle hostess at the club. Then I looked closer and realized that she has a purse in her hand so that means she is a regular party goer. How I wish she was a bottle hostess…then I could excuse this look. Maybe she is a hostess at another venue!

Anyway, there is too much of too little going on. When will we learn ladies? We can should only accentuate one of our assets…boobs or booty…not both! Did you notice that her skirt was kind of see through? So in this case I think she should have kept the top and paired it with something a lil bit more subtle on the bottom.

I do like her bracelet and her necklace. Her make up is very nicely done. Not really feeling the shoes. They just don’t seem sexy enough for the look she was going for.

Now, I’m not really feeling this dress. It looks like its trying to combine too many trends. The zipper being a
focal point of the look takes away from the style it could have had. I don’t know if it is due to her pose but the dress doesn’t look like it fits right. The color is beautiful and looks good against her skin.

Her shoes do not go with this dress. They’re the wrong color and the wrong style. She should have opted instead for peep toes or sandals.

I get the whole 80s is back idea but this is going a lil too far. I also wonder if the skirt was see through the whole night or only because of the flash.

As anti-tights as I can be I think that had she put on some red footless tights I would’ve deemed her fashion forward. The see through bottom (even if it is due to the flash is a no-no). Left her Valentine with lil to the imagination.

Now fashionista or not every woman has a little black dress somewhere in her closet. I’m thinking that this woman should’ve left this “dress” in her closet. I adore when people try to take a look and make it their own but there is just waaaaaaaaaay too much going on here. Her tights are nice but they do not work with this look. I see her trying to be original by adding the sequined section as a skirt but it made an already borderline black dress take a turn for the worse.

Our tips are to go with Coco Chanel’s rule here…Less is more. Remove the stockings (which we like), remove the sequins and let’s see what we’re working with. The belt is questionable and I can’t make a valid judgement on it until I see it with the other pieces removed.
