These photos were taken from a party called the Ultimate Sneaker Event. Now, I’m all about theme events. I simply ADORE finding an outfit that fits the theme of the night without looking like everyone else in the venue trying to fit the theme. I understand that this is a difficult task to take on and it is great when someone can think outside the box but pleeeeeeeeeease tell me how the sneakers that either of these individuals are wearing can be considered anything but an ultimate disappointment?

Now I rarely wear sneakers but I do know many sneaker connoiseurs and it is for them that I am making this post. I’ll give our lady friend props for at least matching her purse to her kicks but I still wish she would have left them both home. I suggest that these two visit www.sbkicks.com for shopping ideas for the next ultimate sneaker event.

I think Cynthia Nixon looks beautiful but I wish someone would’ve told her to fix her posture. The way she stands and carries herself take away tremendously from what is an exquisite look. Her shoes were Jimmy Choo but I wasn’t that into them. They seemed like something that you would get dyed for a wedding…speaking of which, the gown she wore while gorgeous looks as if it could’ve doubled as a wedding dress…for this reason, we will be placing Miranda in the Middle not quite a H.A.M. but not quite Fashion Forward.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock these last few days, you have seen or heard about the pictures that broke on our big bro site G Style magazine. Now that the gossip is going we feel its only right for us, the baby sis, to do what we do best…talk about what homegirl is wearing!

We can debate for days whether or not these two are friends or lovers but either way she had no business being seen in public looking like this. We all have the days we want to be casual, I feel ya mama but this is taking that casual look too far. Light blue jeans, oversized black t-shirt & is that a jacket or a hoodie?

The outfit makes it look like she’s trying to hide extra weight or something. For a nice day in the park she could have traded in the oversized tee for a baby doll t-shirt and her jacket/hoodie for a cropped jacket…unless of course she does have something to hide!!! lol

I was out and about town with one of the style critics the other day and happened into a store that had this on display! I was disturbed by it. I know it has become trendy to wear tights as pants (something I really haven’t adjusted to yet) but this is taking the trend waaaaaaaaaaay too far. Where, oh where I ask is this an acceptable outfit to wear? Not even to the gym. And the accessories are almost as bad. They might work with a different look but this outfit is best left in the store…or better yet under the store!

When deciding what to wear, one should always choose one part of their body to accentuate. This lady is wearing too many trends and showing too much skin at once . Even though she has great legs her pencil skirt would have looked better if it were slightly longer. Her corset (if we can call it that) needs to be worn around her chest, not her torso. Maybe if she had worn her corset correctly we wouldn’t know she is wearing an underwire bra.
