When I heard that the First Lady had chosen a dress from designer Jason Wu I was ecstatic. If you scroll back a few pages Mirror Image Mag talks about Wu’s doll line which became a slight obsession for us here at the mag. We felt connect to not only Mrs. Obama because you know Michelle reminds us of our play cousins from back in the day but we also felt a kinship to Jason Wu because of Fashion Royalty.

Then we saw the dress! I have to admit. It’s a split at Mirror Image. Some of us LOVE the dress and some of us don’t. But none of us can deny that Michelle Obama can wear a potato sack and still look absolutely fabulous. We would’ve loved for her to wear something that looked a lil less like she was attending her wedding reception but we all agree that she still looked gorgeous.
