These photos were taken from a party called the Ultimate Sneaker Event. Now, I’m all about theme events. I simply ADORE finding an outfit that fits the theme of the night without looking like everyone else in the venue trying to fit the theme. I understand that this is a difficult task to take on and it is great when someone can think outside the box but pleeeeeeeeeease tell me how the sneakers that either of these individuals are wearing can be considered anything but an ultimate disappointment?

Now I rarely wear sneakers but I do know many sneaker connoiseurs and it is for them that I am making this post. I’ll give our lady friend props for at least matching her purse to her kicks but I still wish she would have left them both home. Friends don’t let friends leave the house looking like H.A.Ms. Guess these two aren’t really friends because they’re both looking a mess. Had sweetie on the right added some drop or hoop earrings she would have been good from the waist up. Her shorts look too casual.
As for her homegirl on the left, I’m really not that into her dress. The cut of the dress is nice and I like the trim but the camoflaugue (did I spell that right?) look of it is so not hot.

Sweetheart looks great. I really like the dress. And even more I like that she didn’t try to add anything to it. A lot of women would’ve added a belt, hat or something but this young woman realized the dress was powerful enough on its own. Her necklaces are cute. I’m going to hope that she’s a photographer with the camera…lol. I would have preferred that she wore a shorter necklace and only one but I’m in a good mood today so I’m going to let it slide. Her bracelets go well and I really wish I could see her shoes.

Our Editor In Chief just let us know that there is a Spa Day Party Going on at Spa Chinois. There will be free spa services until 7pm tonight.

Spa Chinois is located at 44 West 55th Street on the 5th Floor. So if you need to free some stress and relax some, head down there after work, or take off a little early and enjoy yourself! She wanted us to let you know that she just left there and the experience was wonderful!
